Guatemala accepts married couples and single women. There are a few age
restrictions. |

| Available Children |
Newborn infants are available at the time of referral. Healthy babies both boys
and girls are available. |

| Adoption Timetable |
Dossier is submitted first. Parents wait one to three months for referral of a
newborn. It takes five to six months until the adoption is complete and parents may
travel to pick up their child. |

| Method of Referral |
Pictures and medicals are available on newborn children. |
|
|
| Travel Requirements |
The trip to Guatemala is 3 days. One parent may travel. Escorting is also
available upon request. |
